Dale drill with front hopper?

Anyone had first hand experience of this drill? Saw one at lamma hoping to try a 4m folding with front hopper also they do the option of fert as well looks a very simple high output drill! Thoughts please.

Looked at it as well...Thought it might well be the answer if we are going to get more wet Autumns, better than trying to haul a large trailed machine around....did you pick up a price?

Did nt go to Lamma but have seen the Dale in action and have 2 mates who operate them. Also been to the Dales open day on their farm. Really like the whole thing other than the price !!! FFS its a beefed up cultivator with a hopper /pipes and a box of electrics but no doubt they want £50-£65K for it ???? MADNESS to put a bit of seed a inch or so in the ground for 10-15 days a year !!!!!

The eco 4 folding with fert roughly mid thirties! Best thing is that it only needs 130/150hp to pull super lightweight drilling and I do like something mounted in a wet season!

there is a 4m dale drill looking for a new home in Germany.
for what I have seen it looks in good shape & condition.
Sorry, don't know with what it was replaced, so no speculations.

Hoping to get it on demo in April to see it in action! The other thing is you can sow at either 5" or 10"!

This type of drill is getting increasingly popular in France as people would use the front hopper on strip-till or precision drill. So for the flexibility it's offering it's not bad.
