Discovery 3 spec

Just my opinion and I have a Disco 3, I looked for one with only the spec that I really needed as I use it for the farm as well as my normal vehicle. Top specification (HSE) with every option is ok if you need, use and want all the options but if they need repairing etc and you dont use them it can be costly and a waste of money. S is the bottom spec although base spec is below that (quite rare and very basic, no terrain response and on coil springs), then GS then XS then SE and then HSE. I found leather heated seats that move electronically expensive if they go wrong etc. I have a GS with a few options (front fog lights, xenon headlights etc) that I would need and use and perfectly ample for a vehicle that is towing the combine header in the day and going to London in the evening. I have found the disco 3 very reliable. I havent found a problem when selling my previous discovery as it was only GS spec and not HSE. Meant to be more saleable if top spec but I sold mine to someone who also didn't want more things to possibly go wrong.
