Dodgy malware callers

Be alert to these calls, usually from Unavailable numbers from overseas, saying they have found malware or virus in your systems and proceed to ask you to log on while they remain on the phone to guide you through a fix procedure. They are simply wanting to get access to your system and then steal all your info.

Had two calls this morning so far, so offer to tell their fortune, "I see sex and travel for you, so F*** Off"

I believe its more serious than you think. What they want to do, is gain control of your pc, and lock it. They then charge you a fortune for a password to unlock the thing

Yep many oldies fall for this scam around here. Unfortunatly they end up forking out money to them.

People are so gullible when it comes to technology they do not understand and believe everything they are told.
