Enzo and Toxo vaccinations?

I know one man, cleans his lambing pens out and spreads it all on the fields where his replacement gimmers are. Reckons that is his vaccination 🤷🏻‍♂️. He said that a vet told him to do it years ago, and he’s done it ever since .
We dismantle the lambing pens and main pens every year and stick the ewe lambs in for a fortnight with round bales of hay to pick up any disease/infections.

A bargain then, why do we have to pay some much here then the barstewards.

Vets work on different profit margins to us, some more than others?🤐

I believed it when I was told the manufacturers had increased prices for everything from Alamycin to Tuloxin, yet I’ve seen prices from NI vets, who are also making a margin, of a little over a third of what we pay. Same products from same manufacturers.

Our vets, and/or the RCVS, are lifting our legs.😡

A single jab, although reccs have been changed recently to encourage you to buy more and vaccinate every 4 years iirc. I don’t know of anyone that does though.

That likely is due to them only having verified that it works for 4 years, so they can't state it works for longer. Biologically it is impossible that all ewes will lose complete protection at the same age, but risk will increase with time from last dose.
