Having worked in the industry all my life and being scared witless when I lifted the curtain on a two drum mower which I thought had stopped, I've always viewed farming as the most dangerous industry due to the wide variety of work places. More haste less speed - I must admit when I'm around machinery I try to always think safety first and maybe I'm seen as a fuddy daddy, but you only have one life, so I'm happy to think first and act afterwards. Probably working with animals is the most unpredictable as with machinery, you are in control whereas with livestock, you're not!
