Hello, I have a fiat tractor dt 766 with 4000 hours on it and well maintained.

I have had the front left hand side axle break, this is the second time.

does anyone know if this is a common problem?

secondly, is there a preferred part brand that I should buy and one that I should stay away from.

can anyone also advise if it is a difficult job to replace, I have limited skills.
