As we’ve been warning you at metjeffuk of a cold spell tomorrow and over the weekend, snow is likely over Scotland Northern Ireland and the north of England along with North Wales. Also expect some hard frosts too.

Friday starts with rain and hill snow in the north moving southwards, followed by wintry showers with hail and in places the snow getting down to even low ground at times. Cloud and rain across the south will give way to bright spells and heavy showers in places
