Found out what was causing the hiccup now - F@H was set to run two slots, a CPU and a GPU. The GPU slot wasn't an issue when working, but the CPU slot when working pushed the temp up quite a bit.

Seems they've had a huge uptake recently - WU now taking quite a while to be allocated. More server capacity coming online shortly.

Yeah, CPUs (or at least mine) don't seem very good at folding, they run flat out and generate a lot of heat which your motherboard, fan and case might not deal with well. Projects are falling very fast, I'm on 11763 and we are way past the initial projects offered when Nvidia made their tweet, excellent work all round. My machine alone finished about 6 work units in the last 24 hours.
