- Egypt have rejected 40kmt of wheat due to traces of Ergot despite previously saying that they would apply international standards (providing a % tolerance depending on the contract), which could pose a difficult situation for exportable quality wheat bearing in mind the current weather conditions across Europe, and Egypt being one of the world’s largest importers of wheat.
- For the coming weekend, the US is predicted rains in the E Midwest and SE, with the central region seeing temperatures of up to 30⁰C.
