Glyphosate

I just thought at 100 LHa I'd have to travel too fast for ploughed ground? Would probably only be able to manage 10 kph so the pressure would be very low on the sprayer?
Sorry forgot it was on ploughing, yep, that was my trick in the past too if I wanted to go slower, don't have that problem with DD:D:whistle:

Brisel, there is only one dose of Glyphosate that should be used , they call it a legal full dose , forget lower doses plus wetters etc, please lets protect the active!!
Just because you use a full dose doesn't mean it will stop resistance forming, atlantis was always used full rate, and that selected out resistant strains very quickly, as did strobilurins (early one called landmark I think), found locally to me by my agronomist. Robust rates were used. Alternating chemistry is more important IMHO.

100 be fine, amistar slightly courser, depends how much one leaf BG there is really. I normally use guardian air 03's for my Glypho, might push it to 125l/ha if I want better coverage.

Do you rate guardian airs? I hate them with a passion, it's like putting it on with a watering can imo. Was rounduping today with 03 defys but they are a little drifty so swapped back to the trusty all rounder LD03, keep coming back to them all the time

I went with amistar 0.35's 10kph 2 bar. Lovely day for it!

I use them for most of my spraying, not for hitting small grassweeds, but most other will be done with ga, if I want slightly better coverage I do 125L through 03 ga.

I use Guardian Airs for most of my spring spraying. Pre stem extension, I use angled Bubblejets. Both nozzles have the same droplet VMD (size). The only real difference IMO is the angle and physical length. I used to use Syngenta points to buy the GA Amistar nozzles, plus the shorter design means I snap less off when dragging the booms through the crop or foliage on the roads. For hitting smaller targets, like Badshot I increase water volumes rather than swap to flat fans as wind is a big issue on these hills.

2 observations - the Bubblejets seem to block less often, though this may be down to the kind of brews going through them. The second is that the pattern appears less even close to the nozzle tip, though further away the spray distribution is even enough.

What pressure?
Anywhere from 2 to 4 bar, still not keen on GA's although I feel they are the best of the bubble jets. I've triple nozzle bodies, fitted with LD03, 3D defy and 03 GA, used in that order, all pre ems with the 3D's which I think are great but a little drifty at higher pressures. Do get the point about wind etc and needing to get on but they are not for me.
