Ok for a few thoughts on my KWS Trinity.
It looked good until full flag leaf, then as leaf is erect the tipping makes it look rough until full ear. Was clean.
Combine Results as a farm ave.
GP 1 Solstice 10.28
GP 4 Relay 10.39
GP 1 Trinity. 10.92
GP 1 Skyfall. 11.00
The Relay was ex late dug Beet & one field was F***ed up badly in 2013.
One Trinity field was ex Beet mauled in headlands poor.
The best Trinity field planted late October did 11.67
Over all it looks very promising.
Not got a test result yet but not pushed for Protein as for seed. So it didn't get a spray at water ripe, & one bag of N less than the Solstice & Skyfall.
We have five crops of Trinity and hagberg on all are between 342 and 383. All seed crops so protein not comparable. Specific weights from 75.3 on light land to 78.6.
