Thought chemical toilets had to be kept separate from normal sewerage ?

A cess-pit has no out-fall. This is a holding tank.
I believe you're thinking of a septic-tank? No chemical loos on this type of system.

Looking at the EA site and some pdfs it looks like it's simpler than I thought. We certainly will be within the volume limits. Need to decide where we want the loos / showers and then will call them. Thanks again for all the comments.

Thank you. Got a meeting with the duty planner on Monday to see if this is viable at all. So will go from there.

Being 'in the middle of a field' shouldn't cause any issues. Our bungalow system is located 30m away from the house which is in our adjacent field.
