1Ha = 10,000sq m
30 osr plants per m
300,000Plants
60 pods per plant (guess)
18,000,000 pods
1lt =1000ml
1000ml on 18,000,000 pods = 0.00005ml per pod or 1/20000th of a millilitre per pod! Coating every pod in the canopy ???

Presume your talking Pod Stik which is recommended with a 150l/ha of water.
Would have thought its the top third of pods,luckily the most ripe bit, that will receive the bulk of that.
The maths is even more complicated now.
The top third of the canopy is the part of the crop that is normally prone to shatter. As mentioned in previous threads, we are not looking to coat the whole pod, just tack the top seam together. On drying Pod-Stik "deforms" to create the elasticity enabling the pod to naturally expand and contract, to allow natural maturity but stopping the pod from shattering. Its remarkable stuff really.
