They need to be mild steel to weld them.

Lockinex sell 90degree bends in various tube sizes but I'd say they are possibly a tad sharp,you need a long bend on hurdles.

Yeh they are laser cut and welded on before galvanising. Will take a pic when I'm next up the shed

Every time I see this thread on my phone it makes me laugh, comes up as "home made steel sheep"

what about making your gate as normal and then using flat bar make curve with the flat bar to fit on the bottom of the gate ,one for each end . have seen curved steel pipe fittings on the web but thought they were quite expensive at the time .look up parker steel and then weld fittings will give you idea whats available . sure I have seen them cheaper
another option is get round bar which fits inside the box up right , shape round bar into a wide u shape and push inside the up right , weld the u onto the up right and bottom rail . hope it makes sense .
