How do I set up a Facebook page for my herd

it has been suggested on tff that I set up a Facebook page to promote my herd. How do I do it? I have a personal account but how do I get an extra account for my herd?

You have two choices

Set up a "page" for your herd

Set up a group page linked to your personal account

My laptop is dead and a new charger on order but when it's up I will post some help links

My Livestock Trucks page is the former type and my TwoMills page the latter type

My Livestock Trucks site has over 12000 followers , the TwoMills site has "friends" that I can tag in to posts

Go to your Facebook main account page and bottom left you can create a page

Now I'm no great fan of all of this but I'd also start an Instagram account ('cos it's only oldies like me that use FB these days apparently) and a Twitter account. I don't "get" Twitter but folks like Adam Quinney automatically post on one medium and it goes to the others through some linked application.
