not maize but fed plenty of grass silage out of feild clamp like that, very little waste, just dony want numptys digging holes in the ground with the grab, or spinning wheels, but concreate would be ideal

Are you serious? Half the maize isn't even making it in to the trailers. Then to drop it on bare earth. If you want zero waste you'll have to fill the clamp with bales.

you mean bale it as opposed to clamp ?

Yes. With grass of course. There's no need to grow maize of you make quality, dry, high sugar round bales.
