insuring RHI boilers...

If the WCS happened and the boiler shed blew / burnt down, how does one go on?

I think the RHI goes with the boiler so if it got destroyed how could this be resolved?

NFU are tying to work out how to insure mine but if it got destroyed and the RHI was lost then the loss of RHI for X yrs left would also need to be covered?

That's what he told me, the payments are made on the serial number of the boiler.
Insurance can replace boiler but not the rhi payments

Asked the NFU this very question and was told they need sight of the Rhi contract showing its paid against the serial number before they can get a quote but it does appear presently future Rhi payments are not currently insured. You can do 36 months business interruption to include 3 yrs of the Rhi without any paper work though.
