Updated my 5S to IOS 9 and nothing but grief since then.
Apps crash. Safari crashes. Phone freezes.

Few more people in work saying they have the same issues.

What's the general experience out there?

My 5 phone is ok but it's nearly killed my ipad!!! Safari constantly keeps reloading mid something, messages keep locking up or loosing the keyboard, some aps are painstakingly slow!!!

Try pressing and holding both the home button and power button at the same time until the apple logo comes up. It may help, no problem here with the updates though

Having the exact same problems with both 1 & 2 updates installed. Doesn't do it all the time but pain in the ass as you miss calls. Holding home and power buttons resets it but you don't know how long it's been like it for.

Did you do the updates as computer downloads or just press update in settings?
If the later you could try downloading it onto your computer and then restoring the phone that may sort it, but it will take some time to do.

My brother who is an IT consultant is very much against this and is adamant that this should only be a last resort thing as doing it too often will lead to further problems. At one point I was doing it at least once a week on my iphone 4 and that one slowly died a death where everything took ages to load up etc.

If you felt the need to reset it once a week there was no doubt an underlying problem. In about 6 years of iPhone use I've probably done it 10 times, last time it was to sort out a wifi calling issue.

Anyone having wifi problems ?, my 5s will connect to my home network fine but randomly disconnects itself, it will show its fallen back to gprs but in settings says it still connected to wifi !. It's made watching YouTube impossible.
