For the last two days , the media has been full of sob stories about people “heroic” efforts to get back to blighty before a 14 day quarantine is enforced. Tens of thousands of poor families have had to curtail their holidays drive hundreds of mile non stop and sometimes pay thousands of pounds to get home early , otherwise their social life would be ruined. The tragic case of one young man who had to leave his parents in France with the family dog as it needed vaccinating before return. He was concerned about meeting up with friends before , they all wnet elsewhere, It cost him over £400 in a plane ticket alone. Another mother who spent thousands because her 5 year old daughter needed to accompany the daughters father on another holiday and she had to meet up with her grandmother. Not one of them needed to return for work! Is it just me , who feels like throwing up when you hear such sob stories about, these rich spoilt brats!
