I am staggered by the AHDB who are actively penalising their non assured levy producers by colluding with RT whilst non assured, non traceable grain is being imported and sent to the same mills. They know there has been disquiet in the farming industry, over this, yet do absolutely nothing over it.Disgusting behaviour, I detest paying their levy when they behave in this way .Is there any way we can,as an industry, refuse to pay this damn levy.BFU ?Worst meaning [highly likely] illegally.
And I would guess that would need proving first and then it could be shown that the NFU were their accomplices.
AHDB could also have questions to answer regarding their decision to bankroll an organisation which restricts market access to farmers completely contrary to their mission statement.
I am sure there is sufficient evidence to prove that RT functioned as a vector of collusion. Attempting to make membership compulsory in order for each of them to benefit.
The chance of being successful in such a charge I would think would largely depend on how much government encourage has been involved. . . . . . .
