JD 3050 Oil leak ,arm mounting pin.

Got an oil leak on the pins/ shaft the arms mount on, on the 3050.
Got new seals here , tried knocking pin through but no seal came out. This is all I have done on 2140, 2650 with same problem, I think.
Do I need to unbolt the 2 bolts on the casting on the pin, and if I do, do I need to drain oil first?

Yes,,you'll need the oil out. Take the link arms off each side then push the shaft through tractor, change one seal, push the shaft back and do other side..
