JD ATU 200 not engaging at slow speeds.

Earlier in the year I purchase a JD ATU 200 steering kit which has been used on SF1. I've used it in a Puma 215 which I planted spring beans with and it worked really well. For the last three months it has been fitted to a 100hp New Holland used for Sports pitch work.
The issue I have is when driving below 450m/hr it will not engage. This is very slow but when carrying out sports pitch drainage work the trencher works down to 300m/hr.

Has anybody got any ideas of any settings that could be changed?

I have tried the SF2 free 3 day upgrade but this made no difference.

Agree with @Robt steering systems generally do not engage much below 1km/h @CPP will be able to shed more light on this. There are some systems that allow an extra module to work down to 100m/hr but cant remember which they are.

Trimble Autopilot will work down to 75m/hr i think, but it needs a potentiometer instead of the usual gyro for steering angle.

The Fendt VarioGuide (RTK) works down to 0.1 km/h, accepts pauses (tractor stationary) of about 10 to 30 seconds (never measured the exact figure). I'm sure a Topcon AGI-4 and other similar receivers would do the same on a tractor with a steering valve and steering angle sensor.

I doubt you'll get much to work that slow unless on rtk even then it's too slow

I've finally got some answers and RTK wouldn't make any difference.
The ATU steering system will only work from speeds from 500m/ hr upwards with the retrofit steering wheel we have.
The 1800 screen and 3000 dome we have will work at 200m /hr but only if fitted to a JD autosteer ready tractor.
