Are their prices fairly standard across the board on this kind of kit or is there room for negotiation? Anyone got a recent quote and can tell me how it compares please:

The one that gets me is their annual sub for using third party RTK - when you’ve already paid a small ransom for the priviledge of unlocking it.

Are we talking about the same screen. The op’s quote is for a 4640 universal display

What you have said is for a 4600 gen 4. Basically same screen but very different price structure here and in the US for unlocks

I believe the new 4640 screens activations are subscription based on a yearly or 5 yearly plan they do have some nice features though
The older 2630 were for life but deere have all but stopped developing the software on those now unfortunately, The activations on the 2630 cost a fair whack outright (£1800~ for section control) but thats a for life job if the screen lasts long enough!!

There are few things that I have bought that were as big a rip off as the unlock code for section control on my JD GPS system
