We always turn to our 4m Andy Guest combi when the going gets wet. The vaderstad drill is great when the going is good. Used nothing but the rapid so far this season and gone well but today it's let me down. Just a little bit damper than when we were on 10 days ago and maize roots won't pass through. Don't expect they'll go through the combi too well tomorrow but let the coulter pressure off on a good rear harrow will help and at least we'll keep moving. After a good few years of persevering with the rapid only to be beaten by the later drilling I think I'm up for a change. Horsch sprinter maybe? How do users rate them for drilling later into the season? Don't think much will beat the rapid early on, just the trouble is everyone wants to go later. Vernon
