Massey Ferguson 135 Multi power

Bit of a long shot but here goes, my son is restoring a 135, nice little tractor, but he wants a Multi Power, with his tractor being so good, he wants to fit a MP gearbox to his own,
So the question is, has anyone got an old MP gearbox lying about he would consider a full none runner to buy to be able to convert his,

Even in a 135? There is no oil cooler or filter on a 65 not sure about the pump

nope . multi-power is fed from a aux pump. filter will be under bonnet top left of engine oil cooler at front

i know there is i bit more to it, but the gearbox would be a start, aux pump is bolted to back of gearbox, piped through the gearbox to MP at front,, and would need oil cooler/filter, but would like to give it a go

aux pump in the centre housing bolted to and driven of the scotch yoke linkage pump.you would be better off with a donor tractor.then you can swap all the parts .

You could be well right there, and would consider buying a donor tractor to do the job, so if anyone has a one let me know

You can tap the spool valves into the auxiliary pump for multi power, there is a feed plate on side where pto handle is

right, we have bought a MF 135 with multi power, we only want the multi power out of it, to fit in his own tractor,

question is whats the best way to do it, change just the MP or the full box?

dont want to do that, as his has had new hyd pump, pto bearings and seals, new halfshaft bearings and seals, new brakes hydraulics full over haul, inc new piston and barrel, crown wheel and pin new bearings and all set up for back lash

Sounds like best to just change the bits you need to. That's going to include the housing.
