Massey problems 74 series electrics

The electrics on our 7495 are going mental as of yesterday. It started with the indicators, some work lights and the switch for being on constantly. Now this has led to the spools occasionally not working and the linkage dropping every couple of minutes.

None of this is ideal, we would be very grateful for any ideas!?

Sounds like a dodgy supply or something at a guess. You checked your battery and alternator charges?

That was the thought, we've recently bought a new sprayer that has a compressor running of the tractor batteries, this coupled with three screens running in the cab will have a serious drain on the batteries.

Batteries are at 14.4 V according to the tractor screen, but I think the compressor on the sprayer has compounded the problem.

I think it will be a load but I think it should cope with it. I think it's a dealer plug in job. Try just using the tractor without having it all plugged in and see if the problems still occur.

Could be a wireing loom warn through under the cab. Battery isolators are also know to give trouble on these tractors. We ended up attaching both wires on the back of the isolators onto 1 pole to bypass the isolator.

Bypass isolator. Our dash on 6490 looked like a Christmas tree till we bypassed the isolator. Might not be that but easy to check.

Update: wiggled the wire at the back of the cab and the problems gone away. Can't get it back so we'll wait till it goes again and try again.
