Your having a laugh!! McCain was a total fraud,...…. war hero my arse!! This man voted for more military action than any other senator in US history, he was without doubt the Military Industrial Complexes best ever salesman! I wonder just how many thousands of innocent people around the world met their deaths due to McCains indirect actions, a truly awful human being in every respect!! He wasn't fit to lace the Presidents boots.

I use the term hero very cautiously. The only person that comes to mind I'd award the title to is my dad, but then I'm pretty biased. I don't know enough detail about anyone else to really want to comment.

But fight physically for his country, he did. Put his life at risk, he did. Suffer, he did. Along with thousands of other Americans and allies down the years. We won't take that away from him, or his comrades.

Vote for war, he did. That may be politics you don't agree with, and that's fair enough. I don't honestly think he did because he delighted in the slaughter of Innocents. I think he was a military man who was programmed to solve problems head on with direct action. Military or otherwise.

Meanwhile, all that p.rick can say is - hero? I prefer people who don't get caught. What a p.rick.

I have spent the last few hours , wondering how to respond to this sick, loathsome post.
I give up.

John McCain was not perfect, on one occasion he came close to ending his political career with a pretty appalling lack of judgement, fortunately he saw the light and set things right.

Nonetheless he probably should, and will, go down in history as one of the best presidents the USA never had. While serving as a politician I don't know of any occasion when he put personal or party interest above that of his country and, from a UK perspective, he was never anything but a good friend to us. A good man.

Most people are suckers of the media, look at the euphoria over Trumps possible impeachment last week only for Lanny Davis (Cohens Lawyer) to come out over the weekend and admit "embarrassingly" that he lied...……...Fake news yet again!! And yet (supposedly) very intelligent people buy this media crap time and time again! And have the BBC come out and apologised for airing the Cohen story last week? No, and they wont !
Its a war out there, you either believe the lies of the MSM (BBC et al) or you make an effort to go read alternative news with facts that do try to cut through the establishment smokescreens.

Why do you blame the MSM? Most of this rubbish comes straight out of the horses mouth, generally cutting out these middlemen.

McCains entire 2016 campaign was about repealing Obamacare, but when it came to casting the key vote to get it repealed by President Trump...……...he changed his mind:confused:

A ‘Maverick,’ Revisited

Tim Dickinson’s 2008 profile of then-presidential nominee John McCain offers a revealing portrait of the man who took on Obama.

"[John McCain] was a huge screw-off," recalls Phil Butler. "He was always on probation. The only reason he graduated was because of his father and his grandfather — they couldn't exactly get rid of him."

Joey Foley/FilmMagic

At Fort McNair, an army base located along the Potomac River in the nation’s capital, a chance reunion takes place one day between two former POWs. It’s the spring of 1974, and Navy commander John Sidney McCain III has returned home from the experience in Hanoi that, according to legend, transformed him from a callow and reckless youth into a serious man of patriotism and purpose. Walking along the grounds at Fort McNair, McCain runs into John Dramesi, an Air Force lieutenant colonel who was also imprisoned and tortured in Vietnam.

McCain is studying at the National War College, a prestigious graduate program he had to pull strings with the Secretary of the Navy to get into. Dramesi is enrolled, on his own merit, at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in the building next door.

There’s a distance between the two men that belies their shared experience in North Vietnam — call it an honor gap. Like many American POWs, McCain broke down under torture and offered a “confession” to his North Vietnamese captors. Dramesi, in contrast, attempted two daring escapes. For the second he was brutalized for a month with daily torture sessions that nearly killed him. His partner in the escape, Lt. Col. Ed Atterberry, didn’t survive the mistreatment. But Dramesi never said a disloyal word, and for his heroism was awarded two Air Force Crosses, one of the service’s highest distinctions. McCain would later hail him as “one of the toughest guys I’ve ever met.”

On the grounds between the two brick colleges, the chitchat between the scion of four-star admirals and the son of a prizefighter turns to their academic travels; both colleges sponsor a trip abroad for young officers to network with military and political leaders in a distant corner of the globe.

“I’m going to the Middle East,” Dramesi says. “Turkey, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iran.”

“Why are you going to the Middle East?” McCain asks, dismissively.

“It’s a place we’re probably going to have some problems,” Dramesi says.

“Why? Where are you going to, John?”

“Oh, I’m going to Rio.”

“What the hell are you going to Rio for?”

McCain, a married father of three, shrugs.

“I got a better chance of getting laid.”

Dramesi, who went on to serve as chief war planner for U.S. Air Forces in Europe and commander of a wing of the Strategic Air Command, was not surprised. “McCain says his life changed while he was in Vietnam, and he is now a different man,” Dramesi says today. “But he’s still the undisciplined, spoiled brat that he was when he went in.”

Clearly John Dramesi is a man of honour, one to be given the utmost respect and admired by all, the same cant be said of his former colleague!

Ohh Im sure the LORD is exceedingly busy right now, especially with the Jewish new year just ahead and of course the Day of Atonement (Judgement) on the 18th September! Mr McCain fits nicely into Matthews parable about the weeds!

The Parable of the Weeds Explained
(Zephaniah 1:1-6)
36Then Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
37He replied, “The One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38The field is the world, and the good seed represents the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
40As the weeds are collected and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom every cause of sin and all who practice lawlessness. 42And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears,d let him hear.

Heres another one for you [let he who is without sin cast the first stone ] Save your pile of stones for someone who deserves it and let a dead man rest.

I find it amusing that the ALT Right is happy that the president has surrounded himself with convicted felons. I see Mr manaford is on trail again next week.
As for Sen McCain I disliked his politics but I respected the way he put country before party, witness his support for the ACA .
Did he make mistakes? absolutely Iraq and Sarah Pallin spring to mind but at least he had the decency to admit to these mistakes and apologise for them. Can't imagine Trump doing that.
It is also note worthy that Sen McCain visited 43 war zones during his time in public office to ensure the troops had all they needed. Trump has not visited his troops abroad once in his 20 months.
Please from your brietbart hillock can you justify Trump only flying the flag at half mast for one day when the convention is for it to fly at half mast until the funeral. To the rest of us it appeared to be a cravenly vindictive and childish act.,
