Hi having issues with above leaking at heater end .
I made up a pipe and put brake pipe style swage at heater end .it leaks
What should it have.
Mf dealer not to much help.

Not exactly sure if it's the same on a 65 but I presume so, the pipe into the heater plug is straight with no ridge or flare. Put the nut onto the pipe, then the correct rubber olive, push the pipe as far as it will go into the heater plug, slide the olive along the pipe to the plug, tighten the nut onto the plug.
Been like that since Noah was a lad.
