Mzuri protil - old style coulter leg or new?!

Just wondering which coulter legs forum members were using?

Old style:

New style:

I've just bought a second hand drill with the old style legs - which is currently getting the once over in @Martin Lole 's workshop.

I'm currently waiting to get a price for upgrading to new style coulters, but would be nice to hear from users as to how they get on with each style?!

Thanks.

The new type coulters fit either leg Jon,
The new legs take less greasing and i believe allow fitting of the newer press wheel bracket which is better in stony or trashier conditions, as is the" red type "press wheel.
Correct me if i am wrong please,Martin!

Maybe I'm getting confused with coulters and legs?!
I'll see what Will comes up with with.

I tried both when I had mine, preferred the old style with parallelogram. The later ones are prone to plugging on my ground as the heel hits the ground first. Early drill had 119 daily greasers from memory!
