Orange arrows?

hi there, I’ve noticed a lot of orange arrows obviously marking rights of way/ direction here the last few days? I’ve also noticed them elsewhere locally? Just wandering if anyone knows what they are directing? Are we to expect a load of ramblers of cyclists etc? Cheers dh

I did that when there was some bloody 'walking festival" that decided a footpath that goes right through most of our farm and both our yards was the best route in the area. It's not by a long stretch there's much nicer places to walk much closer to town than here. Would be ok if they stick to the path and leave things alone and close gates Pointed them all up the road

Longneck unless they’re trail biking it must be walkers where their route goes? Bit of a pia really so will re-route it later on.....

We had a "Rat race" cycle event past the other week, it was the last day of their 3 day ride out, most of them looked well and truly done in!

It did not look fun...

Maybe it was some dick head farmer turned all the signs around and made them go an extra 20odd miles every day

Agreed, car clubs used to mark stage layouts with orange arrows, or mark the way to a venue for the likes of an auto test.

Reminds me of going to a farm sale.

Ended up driving around a housing estate as some kids had changed the ‘to the sale’ signs,along with a load of other land rovers and pick ups.

No one around here would have redirected arrows away from the bridge and towards the shorter bridleway route with the knee deep river crossing
