Yes but you are very wrong, following incorrect reports on Social media probably unfluenced from certain foreign sources. The actual fogure for year ended show a rise of 33,000 on the previous five years. And remember this doesnot cover the worst of the Covid epidemic year on year

Correct, flu annually claims the lives of 20-30,000 people each winter, I think in 2015 the figure was actually 50,000? All for an illness that can be readily prevented.

Most hospitals have been far from over run this winter!

In fact most of them have never been so empty the last 12 months as most of then have stopped most or all routine work like cancer/heart treatment etc.

It will always mutate unless you give vaccines to everyone including children under 16 ( who are one of the biggest spreaders of the virus when the schools are fully open )

They are all complaining of being run off their feet as most of the staff are bone lazy and would not last a week in a private business!

Routine work has been stopped for no good reason other than the NHS bosses are using the virus issue as a way of reducing services!

The NHS own figures show that hospitals have been far quieter this winter than any other winter in recent years....

The NHS has the 4th largest workforce in the world ( and a budget to match ) yet cannot cope with a few thousand people in beds!

Make no bones about it: The lockdown is only being done to cover up the incompetence of the NHS managers!
