Having just erected a 30m x 18m double Polytunnels on the understanding that I didn’t need any permission from planning etc should I be concerned about getting a visit from planning officers?

Don’t worry, if you get a visit they will only make you apply for retrospective which won’t cost any more than usual pp.
it will test how good your neighbours are.

There only baby tunnels I cannot see you having a problem with them. More likely get a visit from PC Plod or buzzed by there helicopter.
