Possible bovine TB vaccine I think. (They've found a test to differentiate between cattle that have the disease and those that have been vaccinated as I understood it)
Glyn Hewinson has released a test to differentiate between vaccinated animals and those exposed to disease.
The problem with that is that no vaccine will protect a cow from the enormous challenge faced by the amount of bacteria excreted by badgers.
As in BCG for humans (or badgers), the disease is still there, but not so readily spread. Sometimes.
And it is no different in cattle, as Glyn Hewinson found out in a previous experiment.
