Got her all plumbed in, well roughly, with a couple of used pipes just for a trial run. Neil from Precise Solutions came yesterday to fit a new Agleader InCommand 800 rate controller screen to work with the Claas GPS system already installed on the tractor. But the tractor wouldn't talk to the AgLeader. Or vice versa. So He set up the old Trimble EZGuide 250 and off we went. All seemed to work OK. It will put 6200kg/ha on (2.5t/ac) @ 20 kph and so I'll be happy with that. Ran out of time to try it as though I'm spreading fert with discs flat out because I had an appointment to get to. (Got to that, just parking the car and the person I was to see rang and cancelled :banghead:) Back in the field today, had another razz about with a few more settings. Just about to try it in granular fert mode and Ed Parker from Claas arrived to see about sorting out a diesel leak from the tank. Didn't get time to sort either after a natter because I had to get to the dentist ( forgot about that!!). Ed did get a go on the narky GPS but when he set it in straight A-B mode it swerved about all over the place like SuperGrann on a moped after 9 sherries so I think there is definitely summut amiss. He's going to get the Claas GPS man to give me a call. So, all in all, about what I expected, nearly there but not quite. Quietly liking it so far. :)
