I'm lucky enough to have a Ransome TS78 which has been in the family for as long as I have and I'm looking to re-metal it and get it doing a bit again. It was ploughed until it was worn out in the early 80's and has stood undercover since. The mouldboards and shins are easy enough to find but I'm looking for skimmers now. There seem to be 2 versions. I've still to check which the plough had originally as it is in another shed, but what would be the different jobs for these skimmer types? I've managed to scrape together a full set of each, along with some spare legs etc thanks to a nice man. If anyone wants parts he's got a few boxes full. Thanks for any info.
