rape straw in tmr

Not used it in tmr but cows go mad for it when bedded with it. We don't get it a great deal cheaper down south. Also really good as bedding in clean new shed as base bedding, shed seems t drain better and lay drier al winter

I got 6 free bales once, must have been headland bales as they were soaking wet and were off within two days, never again.
Wheat straw all the way here, great for feeding and once a fortnight I chop 200 kg in the keenan for bedding and calf feeding.
