Recycling small feed bags

A mate of mine that keeps pigs started with little bags then tote bags and now bought a silo and has it in bulk much better job apparently
we use tote bags as they are cheaper than little ones and I don't think blend will come out of a silo

Buy in bulk and fill up the little bags - get yourself some chunky "releasable cable ties" for tying up the small bags to carry around. Those ties are strong enough to keep the bag sealed whilst it's on your shoulder (as long as you don't over fill them), and are easy to release.

Might be worth a time and motion study on that one.

Like tonight. Had friends around for a camp fire. Knew if I didn't fill up a feeder on a new pen, the little buggers would be flying out for Reynard to sweep up. So, 2 mins, bag on shoulder, up the field, cuddle the goats, feed in feeder, back down to camp fire. I suppose I could have bags made up? Dunno.
