Are they as good as the Temis 630 Z?
Looks to be more electronics on the hydraulics and gear shifting paraphenalia.
What can go wrong?
We have had the Temis for a couple of years now with no electronics, all manual, and I find it's an excellent tractor that pulls very well and is easy to maintain. Temis power unit 6 cylinder Iveco which I like. I believe Ares has a JD engine which I'm a bit wary of at higher hours.

Are the Renault Ares electronics repairable without requiring software or programming tools? Do they contain any microprocessors and or maps etc?

We had an 800 series Ares and it was a pig. Mostly the front axle suspension and the dealers attempted repairs to be fair, but the electrics gave trouble around 4000hrs and the cable linkage on the gears did it no favours. Didn’t have any engine issues tho and gave a comfy place to spend a day. If I remember right, the electric linkage control wasn’t the most straightforward thing to use either.

Dunno if they’re on your list, but having run NH TM series to 10,000hrs+, and if you can tolerate weepy spool valves, a TM would be a good shout. Only thing is it’s a sellers market as they’re appreciating in value now.
