<blockquote data-quote="Agriland RSS" data-source="post: 8708781" data-attributes="member: 105608"><p>Written by Eva Osborne-Sherlock from Agriland</p><p></p><p style="text-align: right"><img src="https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/cdn.agriland.co.uk/uploads/2020/05/ewes-and-lambs-640x360.jpg" alt="blood" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p>The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) will host demonstrations of sheep post-mortems next month with the aim of providing attendees with insights into the internal effects of parasite damage.</p><p></p><p>The <a href="https://www.agriland.ie/farming-news/category/beef/" target="_blank">beef</a> and lamb branch of AHDB will host the event in collaboration with Mole Country Stores and Towcester Farm Vets on <strong>Wednesday, May 17,</strong> at Mole Country Stores, Brackley Road, Buckingham (MK18 1JD).</p><p></p><p>The demonstrations will be carried out by Ben Strugnell of Farm Post Mortems Ltd. and the event will cover the impacts of parasites on <a href="https://www.agriland.co.uk/farming-news/category/sheep/" target="_blank">sheep</a> and why post-mortems are beneficial in measuring them.</p><p></p><p><strong>The topics set to be covered include:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Why and how post-mortems take place and their benefits;</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">What organs look like and the common causes of death in lambs;</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Effective parasite control.
