Maybe worth getting the calcium levels evaluated too, as a shortage, especially with good mg levels, will hold your clay together pretty tight.

For mostly grazing I wouldn’t be chasing pH levels up much over 6.5, since as you start to get up beyond 7 you can suffer ‘lock-up’ of various minerals, copper and zinc especially I think.

I would go with the MOP
Potash plus is from polyhalite I think and although they sell it as slow release you might be waiting a long time for it to work
Ok thanks yes he told me it did come from polyhalite not overly fussed about an overnight change as I know it will take a few years just don’t want to be pissing in the wind putting it on

I did have the calcium checked just that’s in a seperate document and most of the fields are ok for calcium.
I’m happy enough with the PH for now just odd field is low but not worth worrying about for now. Just wondered really whether I’d see much benefit from putting the potash plus on and getting the sulphur and calcium extra.

Had potash plus (£320) recommended by fertiliser man over MOP (£390). Is it a good idea to buy this or is MOP the better option ?

I have been using PotashPlus or KornKali for several years, but mostly as it provides Sulphur, Ca and Mag as well as Potash, all of which we need.
If I was as high in Mag as you are, I would go with MOP (needing 2/3 as much for the same amount of Potash), and a N fert contains Sulphur.

Unless you’re farming with little N fert, in which case I’d apply S via Calcifert S, where the extra Ca would help with the high Mag you have.

That’s good to know will have to get some more quotes then and figure out what’s best as don’t put any nitrogen on other than abit for 2nd cut. And at the minute don’t need the extra output.
