God it's hot today .

I was in the tractor today and really had to resist turning the air conditioning on!

It was unusually warm in March 2012........Then it snowed in April,and rained the rest of the year!

We held a ploughing match on the last weekend in March that year and it was 25 deg C on the Sunday afternoon

We moved in here on March 25th 2012. I had moved all the sheep up in the preceding days and everything was settled in their respective fields. I remember the removal guys leaving in the early evening, standing outside by the lake, bats flitting about in the twilight and not a sound to be heard other than a few sheep baaing across the fields. I remember smiling to myself thinking everything was in place for a good year.

I won't be doing that again.
