When do most people harvest Spring oats? Could you please put the area you are.

Around the same time as winter wheat but find that oats dry more quickly than wheat so can be combined while waiting for wheat to dry. Oxfordshire.

After wheat here, usually first week September in a normal season, whatever that is!

Beginning of Sept last year but wheat was a litle later than normal so mayby sooner this year.

Sweden around when spring barly harvest is.
The hull is cover from rain so after à shower you are abel to cut much faster than rain on wheat. A good oatcrop take a LOT of space in trailers and bins.

What seed rates do you guys use? Growing them for first time here, was thinking 350 seeds end of March?
