Straw now more expensive than grain

Not so sure the amount of acres going into SFI is significant. Could be 3 years of a very limited supply of straw looming.

One of the reasons that we havnt gone headlong into field scale non production sfi is we use the straw turn it into organic matter or sell it for same . Itoo can see a shortage looming Just thinking under sfi we should get a payment for creating organic matter and holding on to carbon, ho ho

I’d say SFI would be taking out break crops rather than Cereals in the South/southwest
