Weirdly, the thinned area is coming into flower much more slowly.

Red marks show thinned area.

I’m glad I didn’t do any more now. The proof will be in the yield map.

One of my friends damaged his OSR after not cleaning sprayer out properly.

It didn't kill it, but was very late to flower/ripen.

I think that’s to be expected, the thinned plants have room to grow sideways so will be slower to grow up and into flower ??

Which raises a good question, how much extra yield weighs out an early start to harvest ??

Visually, the flowering has evened up a bit now. However, I’m becoming less convinced by the day that it will improve yield….

The combine yield map will be the ultimate answer.
