Timber framed building costs

Out of interest, does anyone have an idea of the comparative costs of a storage shed of say 100' x 50' x 18' erected
a) using steel portal frame
b) using timber frame

I went on a trip to the Pottinger factories last year and their new, very large, very high tech , parts distribution centre was built of timber - very impressive.

Timber is ok as long as it stays dry, I bought the timber to make a 120 x 30 for a bit over £3k

Good luck shifting those big glulam beams here, the ones in the distribution yard were about 65m long?
