Battery life is becoming poor on my present Nokia 6 so it's time for a change. Does anyone bother with new Nokias now? Think they're all I've ever used... or what about the Google Pixel 4a or is it out dated now too?
As @SamN has done... pick up a MotoG of some flavour and spec.
Cheap enough to use on a farm and not weep if it gets damaged, but pokey enough to do pretty well everything you will want or desire! Pick up a silicone case and a toughened glass screen protector, and good to go for under 200 quid all in, 150, if you buy carefully
I only buy Phones from Amazon itself (not the linked stores) as they are good if there is an issue. Tesco have some more basic models under 100 quid, and they have been great when Herself killed her Moto G!
+1 for the Moto "G". Mine was delivered with two very good screen protectors , you wouldn't know it had one , and it hasn't a scratch on it as yet . I've yet to use the second one .
Wife got a cheap nokia (android) phone the other day from the local shop.
Battery is terrible, with little to no usage, it won't last the day without a charge.
Shouldn't have to change a phone simply because the battery is going bad. I thought the law was changing on that. All about built in obsolescence being bad for the planet.
Just replaced my Moto G after 5 years, speakers went. I thought the new Moto was a bit big for my pocket, might have got broken. I got a google 4a and I'm suited with it. Camera is very good. Yesterday it was still on 80% charge at night, but I'm not on it that much.
Well I can't say I have tried much else but I also like my motorola, I have a g7 power. Battery used to last 4 or 5 days, no down a fair bit, I guess I should reset or empty it.
Great thing that I didn't think I would use is that you can turn on the light by shaking it. Bloody handy when you have your hands covered in grime or need a quick bit of light.
