Updating firmware on EZ-Steer?

While looking at the EZ-250 thread, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about updating EZ-Steer software?

This is an Ag-Leader diagram, but its the same T2 controller: https://dealer.agleader.com/kbp/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=158

Has anyone upgraded their firmware? Does it improve the steering? Is it a PITA?
Apart from upgrades to make the Ez Steer work with a different screen I don't think there have been any firmware updates.

The last software upgrade for the Trimble EZ-Steer was in 2007 to make units working with the old Trimble EZ-Guide Plus lightbar, as shown on your diagram, compatible with newer Trimble displays.

If your Trimble EZ-Steer works OK with your Trimble EZ-Guide 250 lightbar it will not need a software upgrade, the only upgrade you are likely to need is a firmware upgrade on the Trimble display.

Hope this helps.
