Hi Guys
Can anyone give me an idea as to the value of this? I can't give you much info(as i don't have any) other than it's a Farmall H and the tax disc expired 31st DEC 1941. I did have it going today and it was running when the pictures were taken.
How rare a thing is it??
I suppose it was one the war lease and lend supplied tractors, perhaps there were quite few but maybe not many remain, is it a good restoration? Looks tidy enough.
Thanks both
Penmoel i've no idea how rare it is. the restoration is ok, it was done i'm guessing 10-12 yrs ago. probably good enough for someone who just want a tractor for shows but not good enough for the real enthusiasts.
People always ask a lot for these old tractors but a lot keep turning up in the mags month after month.i think most are overpriced.ive got a super dexta restored at great cost 3yearsago.we had the tractor from new,1963.i bought another for parts and had someone do the restoration and had it blasted and painted and it cost in the region of 5 thousand pounds.it is in concours condition and it just stands in my workshop.ive no desire to show it and occasionally I ride it round the village on a sunny day.im sure it's not worth what I spent on it and like most restorations they start to deteriate as soon as they finished.
