Local farm wants to run a ducting for gas/water/fibre optic through one of my fields up to a site that will be developed into houses. Field is permanent grass and they would like to run the entire 400ft length. What sort of figure would be acceptable??

You need an agent and the developer pays.
50% on signing, 40% when work starts an 10% at completion.
Then you add on loss of the working width, SFP, disturbance to check gates are shut, etc. Keep a diary of every contact and your time involved at £40 /hour
