I`ve worked on a few farms of different sizes as well as having worked in other industries , one thing that stands out on farms is the lack of worker facilities on farms , some did not even have a toilet for staff ! (incidentally this is illegal ), I dont understand how farmers expect workers to be content when they dont offer a room with basic facilities such as a table,chairs, microwave , kettle and fridge and of course somewhere to ***p and wash your hands., remember workers often spend half their lives on the farm. I guess some farmers conveniently forget that when they have a break and go into their warm comfortable farm house with all mod cons the workers workers are sat on a bale in the cow shed? What do you offer your workers? HSE say "Toilet and welfare facilities in agriculture If you employ anyone (however short the period) you must provide adequate and appropriate welfare facilities for them while they are at work. ‘Welfare facilities’ include:

clean, well-ventilated toilets;
wash basins with hot and cold (or warm) running water, soap and towels (or a hand dryer);
portable toilet and washing facilities for workers working away from base;
changing facilities where special clothing is worn;
drinking water; and
somewhere to rest and eat meals."
http://www.hse.gov.uk/agriculture/topics/welfare.htm#toilet
